Poetic Prose

Just a Paper

Just a paper

You paint a funny picture
I guess you hardly smile in years
Things stuck in a fixture

Put a message in a paper
You kneel down and pray later
You tell your head you are not here

See my face in a paper
It will happen sooner or later
Its time to take her

Not today please comeback later
I’m not a money-maker
You are always a taker

Your eyes drop a tear
Chase you down to fear
Hide away you know I’ll be here

This poem was written in the morning while listening to one of my favourite songs and it struck me to write this poem. I let it flow what’s in my mind and type it away.
